Dear all
We are planning to charge both magnets in hall B to full field tomorrow at 800 hrs.
Chris (CHL) or anybody else have any concerns that hall b needs to be aware off, please let us know if there is any hold ups or issues. We intend to try out the safety relief on solenoid at ~500 A by carrying out a fast discharge..!
Thanks to all...!

Regards,
Probir

There is lots of survey work in Hall B today, Thursday and Friday that will have to be rescheduled if Hall B ramping is delayed so keeping to this date is important. Testing includes ramping both magnets to full field and a low current Fast Dump of the Solenoid from ~500 amps to test the new relief valve heater system. This Fast Dump of the Solenoid will put a bump on the recovery system which should be short lived.

Dumps in Hall C (or Hall B) will affect our progress and likely create issues within our cryogenic and vacuum systems. Is it possible for you to postpone these tests until Hall A is cold and on cold return? At the current rate, Hall A should be on cold return and stable NLT Aug 17th.
