Morning Dave,
Has the cause of dewar level loss been found, or do we need to keep searching?
Regards,
Mike

Hi All,
The dewar at ESR is loosing liquid helium.
Please review your systems and let everyone know if there are any suspect reasons that the load on the ESR went up.
I looked through some signals and found that Q1 on the SHMS had a low liquid level indication comparing the 24hr average to the 7 day average. I called Mike Folwer and he looked at it. It seems that the magnet actually was empty for some time and had its liquid level probe "reset". After resetting it came back reading 0 and required the magnet to start filling.
The magnet was full by 17:00 yesterday.
Questions:
How long was SHMS Q1 "offline"?
Is this the load that has put the ESR over the edge?
When folks make changes to operating systems these changes must be followed up by e-mails to this list. Whomever made these changes please reply to this mail with details of yesterdays intervention.
Thanks
Dave
