Thanks Ryan!
This will give us a good idea about the required aperture of the middle magnets of the FFA branch chicane (passes 9-19).
Have a great weekend.
Cheers,
Alex

Good evening colleagues,
As a quick follow up to our meeting, I’m sending out two plots in answer to questions of the spread of the orbits in the FFA branch of our spreader.
One is a plot of *all* elevations for the different passes in the NE spreader. Please recall, passes 1-7 are EM passes, and 9+ are all in the FFA branch.
The second plot is simply focusing on the FFA branch (passes 9-19). As expected, they scale like the dispersion. To simulation accuracy, the full width of the spread is 10032.372 - 10015.834 = 16.583 cm. So, it’ll be a big (rectangular?) beampipe, but I think that was expected by all of us.
Just wanted to send that out before everyone got off for the weekend. Speaking of which, have a wonderful one!
Cheers!
Ryan
