Several of the no responses explicitly stated that they were concerned about the construction sentence within the initiative.

The wording of energy upgrade initiative is being updated to address that concern and there will be a second survey.       I suspect/hope with the change in language, the initiative will be supported by a much larger majority.

What I think you one can see from the first survey is the JLab user community is pushing for positrons a bit harder than they are currently pushing the energy upgrade; though with a staged approach to the upgrade that is the nature order that one would proceed.

FYI.  Slide 19 shows survey results for energy upgrade.  Listening to SoLID discussion, this was most contentious question at the meeting.
