[Frost] FROST meeting

Hi Everyone,

There's a public transport strike in Genova today, so I probably won't
make the meeting in order to get home on the few commuter services that
are legally-required* to run. I've been working on carbon scaling (as
usual), and I've put a few slides together on my one last attempt at
adapting the phase space scaling method to strangeness channels on g9a,
before getting back to the direct scaling method.
Mike's analysis note on this
(http://wwwold.jlab.org/Hall-B/secure/g9/ASU/sfDraft/sfNote.pdf), and
section 6.3.2 of my thesis
(http://nuclear.gla.ac.uk/~stuartf/thesis/thesis.pdf) explain the
background a bit better than I can in a few slides and an email, but if
you take a look, the opening slides hopefully set the tone for the ones
with new plots from my latest analysis. A misplaced macro means I
haven't got around to applying the newly measured scaling factors yet,
but I should have something on this by the next meeting, and be able to
show if I can adapt the phase space scaling to strangeness, or if I
should just drop it.

Slides are linked on the wiki, but to save on mouse clicks, here's the
link;

Cheers,
Stuart

*sometimes in Italy, this doesn't mean what you think it should, that's
why I'm leaving early...
