Just a reminder to those who have FROST preliminary results that you’d like me to mention: Please provide examples to me of those results tomorrow so that I can include them in the overview talk at MENU 2013 I’ve been asked to give. Thanks. ---Barry

Subject: [Frost] MENU invited talk - slides please...

Dear FROST colleagues,

We have been promoting the FROST preliminary results and analyses at a number of national and international meetings. These talks have drawn attention to our work and kept our colleagues around the world interest in what we’ve been up to. As you may recall, I’ve been invited to provide an overview talk of FROST results at MENU in Rome in a little over a month. I’ve been told that talk with be the opening talk for one of the parallel sessions (for which no schedules have been posted yet). My intent is to highlight the breadth of the FROST program and to provide a quick sample of results.

I need your help to make the best impression on our colleagues at other labs about the importance and quality of FROST analyses. Based on which of the following two groups you are in, here’s how you can help all of us look good:

1. For those FROST folks who also will be at MENU presenting results: I will want to show a summary slide (or two) from your talk and direct the audience to attend your presentation for additional details and discussion. Would you please provide a graph or two that you believe best illustrates your preliminary results within the next few weeks (or by September 19)? By the time we’re at Rome, I will know which day/session/etc. you will be in. If you are not in the parallel session that the overview talk is in, I’ll also put that on that summary slide(s) shown for your analysis.

2. For those FROST folks who will NOT be at MENU but have preliminary results that you would like to have shown: Please provide me a graph or two within the next few weeks (or by September 19) or so that indicates what your preliminary results look like thus far and any comments you have about how you think they’ll wind up.

If you have no preliminary results at this point but would like your analysis mentioned, please let me know that so that I can mention that, as well.

If you do not have preliminary results graphs ready yet but do believe you’ll have something by September 19, please let me know.

Thank you for your assistance.

Sincerely yours,

Barry
