[G12] Fwd: Momentum corrections

Dear All,
I think before someone jumps into writing capitalized words between
asterisks, we should remember that we were trying to do analysis
comparison in order to find a physics phenomenon. I believe that anyone
trying to repeat the analysis of another group, has to be kind enough to
provide the event numbers for the other group to see, and may be even
convince themselves that their analysis *MIGHT* be wrong ;-) (couldn't
resist).
Similar attempt to compare analysis were done by Valeri, who kindly
provided event numbers and also correction codes used for his analysis.
In this way we were able to proceed very fast through comparison of
analysis (Thanks to Valeri and his collaborative spirit).
I think if someone is interested in standing on his point, should either
collaborate with the other group, I don't know, may be provide the codes
used by him, or should just drop the issue and do not respond to e-mails.
I want to mention that there are no personal attacks here against
anyone, just a call for not considering their results valid unless full
details of analysis are provided. DOES not seem unreasonable to me.
The ODU group was always open to requests to show the events and codes
used in our analysis, which can not be said about some of the other
groups (or &Co).
Gagik.
