[G12] Another FSU CLAS-g12 paper draft ...

Dear g12 Colleagues,

I have uploaded a paper draft on eta cross section measurements from g12. Parts of the physics discussion are still missing and the abstract / summary are rudimentary. The manuscript is fairly detailed in the first half but this paper is intended to be just the first in a series of cross section measurements from g12: eta, K(0)Sigma(+), and omega … The paper draft is available under Publications on the Publications and Dissertations page of the g12 wiki or directly using this link:

    https://clasweb.jlab.org/rungroups/g12/wiki/index.php/File:FSU-eta.pdf

The eta measurements themselves are interesting because they extend the g11a measurements into the Regge regime. In this regard, we are a little bit under pressure since we would like to publish the 3.5 - 4.5 GeV energy range before GlueX does so with much better statistics.

Moreover, the paper is very detailed for two reasons: I would like to prepare an ironclad case for the K(0)Sigma(+) cross sections and (2) I would like to address the remaining cross section discrepancies between ELSA and CLAS results. As far as the latter is concerned, the issue is unfortunately not resolved.

Anyway, comments are welcome.

Cheers,

       Volker
