It is very nice data and an interesting talk.
I have a couple of suggestions:
slide 1: The title is awfully long for a 10min talk. I suggest to
shorten it to something like (or similar)
"Measurement of polarization observables in hyperon photoproduction off
bound neutrons".
slide 5: The table is from the 2014 edition. A new edition RPP 2016 is
now available online which has an
updated version of that table (find table here:
http://pdg.lbl.gov/2016/reviews/rpp2016-rev-n-delta-resonances.pdf).
There are significant differences, e.g. N(1710)1/2+ *** => **** (also
based on g + p -> K + Lambda), and
photoproduction data are more emphasized over pion induced data.
slide 9: The D13(1900) has become P13(1900) or better N(1900)3/2+. So,
the comparison w/ and w/o
D13 is not relevant anymore. There is, however, a new state N(1875)3/2-
that likely has different hadronic and
photocouplings than what was assumed in the calculations for
"D13(1900)". I suggest to delete the two bullets on D13
and refer to the two models as using different resonances and parameters
as ingredients. It makes little difference
as none of the curves is close to the data except for the two lowest
energy bins near threshold, where P ~ 0.
slide 14: bullet #4: .. calculations from are observed .... is
incomplete sentence.
bullet #5: "Di
fferences between data on
free proton and
quasi-free
neutron are observed that could be due to reaction
dynamics or
other resonances."
=> These differences may also be due to the
difference in isospin,
Regards,
Volker
