[Genrp] [Sbs] New SBS analysis meeting times for Fall 2025 (GEN-RP still pending)

Dear Andrew,

Pushing it back to Fri 11:15am would be fine with me.
I think it is most important that all of the students on GEnRP can attend (=Saru, Andrew, and Bhasitha), plus some supervisors.
It's a smaller group, so we don’t have to meet every week.
I did not fill the survey since I had other unknown dependencies when the survey was done.

Andrew Cheyne, is 11:15am EST (16:15 UK time) possible for you?
The 8:30am EST time slot would be awfully early, in particular for Saru who is connecting from the PST time zone this semester (=5:30am).

As far as I know, the main reason to consider changing it for this semester is my teaching schedule ( MWF 10:10-11:00 in a building halfway across campus from my office). Also, Andrew Cheyne indicated in the survey that he is NOT available at any time on Fridays, although I’m not sure if that was intentional or not. I can join on Fridays but only starting around 11:15. If we can shift the start time by 15 minutes I will be fully available. FWIW, according to the survey responses, the time that worked best for the largest number of key people was 8:30 AM on Fridays (though I’m not a fan of the early meeting time before my class on Fridays).

We used to have GEnRP on Fridays at 11am. This would continue to work for me.
We chose it to be late AM to make it better manageable for Glasgow and also for Saru who is connecting from the PST time zone.

Is there a need to change it?

All times are US Eastern (Daylight or Standard as applicable):

GMN/nTPE: Thursdays, 3:30 PM. Moderator/coordinator: Eric Fuchey. Weekly or biweekly as needed.
GEN: Thursdays, 2:00 PM. Moderator/coordinator: Arun Tadepalli. Weekly unless otherwise noted.
GEP: Tuesdays, 2:30 PM. Moderator/coordinator: Anuruddha Rathnayake. Weekly unless otherwise noted.
GEN-RP: TBD, need more input from key people. Moderator/coordinator: Jiwan Poudel.
