Dear All,

There has been an email exchange within CNF (so Xiangdong, Bob, Latifa, Simonetta and myself) following the announcement of about the topical collaboration on GPDs. Bottom line is in Xiangdong’s email below:

He wanted to send out invitations for a meeting next Wednesday as per the above. We have a strong effort, and are putting together a strong team, so I do not see there is a conflict between this and what we are proposing - in particular it has to be a focused and “temporary” effort addressing a particular problem. I was going to suggest the following:

- Note that the TC call is indeed a good opportunity, and it is very encouraging there is so much interest.
- Respond that we were having a meeting next Thursday morning.
- Say that I will forward the invitation to this email list, noting that it was pretty hard to find a common time this coming week.

Seem reasonable?

David
