David,

it is good Xiandgong is interested, and your response seems reasonable
indeed. But I am a little concerned by the tone of his e-mail, that seems
to indicate he wishes to coordinate the whole effort himself - although I
may be reading too much between the lines, and he simply wishes to be
proactive.

Regarding the call he is proposing, this needs not necessarily be with
everybody. For example, you and who else is free may join and represent the
whole group.
