Analysis
CE presented the fits using the new reduced ITD ratio where a transverse momentum is used in the denominator, vs the previous method where matrix elements at zero momentum were used. There was discussion as to the functional form for each of the matrix elements that go into this reduced ratio. The new method seemed (surprisingly?) to give larger error bars, and perhaps slightly lower values. CM noted that the discretisation errors may be different in the numerator and denominator, and therefore the discretization between the two results might be an indication of the magnitude of the discretisation errors. RE whether discrepancies could be not isolating the ground state in the same way, rather than due to discretization effects.
Physics Projects
KO had constructed a google document to describe.
AOB
Asked about obtaining the certificate for Globus to access. BJ pointed us to here.
CK would like next week to present the analysis of the 48^3 lattices, using based on the "suboptimal" unphased eigenvectors. He was also making progress, with ER, using the disconnected code, and the last step was to write the I/O, for which he would use HDF5.
