Hi All,
I received a second message from our referee. I have attached the follow-up thoughts to this email.
In short, our debate between our way of thinking and that of our referee persists regarding perturbation theory. That said, the referee states we can publish without any further exchanges or modifications. Verbatim, the editor states:
"The referee raises important conceptual and semantic points that you may want to address in a revised version of your manuscript. I should point out that these revisions are optional: as indicated by the referee, the manuscript could also be published as is."
I'm of the opinion we proceed to publish. I appreciate any last lingering perspective you may have.
Best,
Colin
