installations. Dave Gaskill will head the committee who will
be looking at g2p and Qweak.
2) Robin Wines
a) Møller:
i) Shielded box is due in this Friday (8/3)
ii) Expect delivery of the 4th Quadrupole between 7 and 21
August. Expect to tighten the time window soon.

could take between 2 days and 2 weeks depending on how
busy magnet measuring is when we get it to them.
iv) Overall things are going well
b) Compton:
i) Finishing up the field plate modifications
ii) Almost all parts are in
c) SBS:
i) Working on configurations and solutions to interference
problems
ii) Considering different coil solution
d) Looking at DVCS and GMp configurations

general use (better and less work than reinstalling the old
girder support)
f) Looking at new coils for APEX
g) CAD upgrade: They?ve started moving people to the new

i) waiting for parts
ii) Hooked up AC power and control cable for the new
Quadrupole
b) Cryo upgrades continue
4) Sirish Nanda
a) Thinks there?s a solution in hand for mapping the Compton
dipoles in the tunnel (will have to move the magnets some to
allow for setting up mapping equipment, but should be easier
than moving the magnet to the mapping facility and just as
accurate)
b) New computer for Compton is up and running. Will move both
the old and new computers to the Hall during counting house
refurbishment
c) Re the mysterious cavity problem mentioned last week, may
have found the answer. More next time.
