Minutes of Hall A Group Meeting August 28, 2012
1)	Robin Wines
a)	12 GeV Upgrade:
i)	Møller:
(1)	Waiting in the 4th quad. Have pictures of coils, 
plates, etc... Still thinking 2 weeks till delivery
(2)	All other parts are in
(3)	Stacking lead
ii)	Compton: almost all parts in. Just a few small things 
left.
b)	DVCS:
i)	Whit is doing structural analysis
ii)	Working on drawings of support structure
iii)	Looking into casting flange extension on recommendation 
of welder
c)	SBS:
i)	Pricing Hillman rollers
ii)	Working on BigBite detector  and frames
iii)	Magnet analysis continues
d)	Septum modeling for PREX
2)	Ed Folts
a)	Cleaning up after the flood on Saturday. (~2 inches of water 
on the floor in Hall A on Saturday)
i)	Discuss details
ii)	Hall A not too bad
iii)	Hall C got it the worst (lower floor than us!)
iv)	Evaluating costs and possible preventative actions for 
the future
b)	Expect to start back at slacking Møller lead tomorrow (8/29)
3)	Bert Manzlak
a)	Re the flood, sightseeing in the Halls is strongly 
discouraged
i)	Reminds us of the long shutdown work governance document 
(SAF116kd)
ii)	Check with the work coordinators (Ed Folts for Hall A) 
before you go in.
b)	During the long shutdown there have already been injuries. 
The latest was in Hall C last Friday. It wasn?t serious but 
it was ?reportable?. Be careful out there!
4)	Thia Keppel:
a)	The new schedule has been uploaded to the Hall A Wiki
