Minutes of Hall A Group Meeting July 2, 2013
1)	Thia Keppel
a)	From the senior staff meeting:
i)	Upcoming meetings and reviews:
(1)	August 9, Rebaselining at DOE headquarters
(2)	Next week, S&T visit to JLab from DOE
ii)	Results from June 12 Comparative Research review
(1)	Nothing formal yet, but it looks good
iii)	Budgets are tight but still OK
(1)	All are encouraged to take vacation in July and August
(2)	Hiring is slow
(3)	Get you budget requests for FY14 to Thia ASAP (expect iterations)
(4)	Think about FADC needs (a large order is being processed)
iv)	Meeting tomorrow (7/3) re the accelerator test facility
v)	Drew Wiesenberger reports that the Big Blue Dark Box is back in operation
b)	Suggests if you have summer students and would like them to make a short presentation 
on their work at a Hall A Meeting, get together with Stephanie and get them on the 
schedule
c)	If you anticipate needing space for anything let Thia know (be as specific as possible)
2)	Robin Wines
a)	DVCS and Gmp are on hold waiting on req?s
i)	Wire target req still hasn?t gone out. Thia says Joyce can go ahead.
b)	Raster: waiting for beam pipe processing
c)	SBS:
i)	Steel has been cleared by Brookhaven for shipping
(1)	Revising paperwork for the transfer (we?re getting 2 magnet yokes, coils, etc.)
(2)	Revising counterweight support structure in light of what we?re actually getting
ii)	Working on yoke modification drawings
iii)	Setting up secondary milestones
iv)	Have found out that the Testlab floor can handle the weight of the SBS magnet
d)	Was contacted by cryo re liquefier for Møller
e)	Working on GRINCH
f)	Working on APEX (vacuum chamber and scattering chamber extension box)
3)	Ed Folts
a)	Continuing Raster work
b)	Making progress on cryogenics
c)	Working on pivot signal and power cables
d)	Moving things to the TED
