Minutes of Hall A Group Meeting: January 21, 2014
1)	Thia Keppel
a)	From Senior staff meeting:
-	Rolf discussed fall out of restructure
-	Continue working as you are until told otherwise if expectations changing
-	Mark Jones is the new SBS Program Manager
-	User Group Board Meeting tomorrow (Wednesday, January 22, 2014)
b)	Budgets are not final
-	$0 for travel currently
-	Must have strong reasons for travel this year, i.e: validate your reasons for travel. Just attendee will likely not be accepted.
c)	Positive feedback about SoLID document, but needs some work still 
d)	MEIC Review went well

a)	Accelerator Readiness Review

a)	Everything done for DVCS/GMp
b)	Continuing to work on support structure of SBS

a)	Weather ... Lab will close today at 4:00 pm.  For more information about lab status check to site wide email sent by the JLab Emergency Management Team.
b)	  Several recent division Notable Events 
- Two separate unauthorized movements of radioactive material (RAM) 
  		 - In late December in the Experimental Equipment Laboratory. (PHY-13-1217)
		 - In early January in the Physics Storage Building.  (PHY-14-0102)
e)	When you want to move RAM from its designated location or have RAM related question, contact the JLab Radiation Control Group.
c)	Tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome during a production drift chamber wire crimping activity. (PHY-13-112)
		- Lessons Learned 
		- Report all medical conditions that may affect the safe performance of assigned 
          tasks. 
       - Provide formal medical related information to your supervisor and to the   
         Occupational Medicine Group ,including a condition(s) being treated, outside 
         the laboratory, by a personal physician(s).
