Minutes of Hall A Group Meeting: October 24, 2017

1. Thia Keppel
   a. No Senior Staff meeting
   b. Reminder – In Performance Appraisal cycle
     i. Supervisors, please have your appraisals in to Thia a week before Thanksgiving
   c. Please sign up for Shifts!!!

2. Robin Wines
   a. SBS
     i. Parts ready to test assembly of shielded beamline
     ii. Assembly drawings complete for all beamlines
     iii. Checking support tower attachment
     iv. HCal platform in checking
     v. BB detector drawings complete
     vi. Working on ECal frame drawings
   b. PREX2/CREX
     i. Collimator successfully brazed
     ii. Continue working on beamline shielding support and redesign of vacuum chambers
   c. Cost estimates for APEX, ECal, and SBS
   d. Checking beamline shielding needs for Tritium

3. Jessie Butler
   a. Helped Jack in removing all the old electronics from L-HRS bogie control box
   b. Worked with Chris on inventorying SBS exit beamline shielding
   c. Worked with Whit on inventorying materials and going over assembly process for the HCal modules
   d. Working on interlock circuit for dipole and updating drawings
   e. Met with Dave Kashy to go over Hall A cryo system to help him better understand our system layout and 
      load on ESR
   f. Troubleshooting faulty pressure sensor on LQ3
   g. Installing shielding for the recently installed automatic return valves
   h. Helped Bogdan move equipment out of room 122 in the EEL
   i. Move target stand in the hall
   j. Replaced worn wheels on band saw in building 98
   k. Inventory spare turbos and gauges 
   l. Started set up in Test Lab for assembling HCal modules
   m. Continue to support Target Group as they prepare for Tritium
   n. Assisted DC Power in checking out the function of beamline valves
