Minutes of Hall A Group Meeting: September 11, 2018

1. Doug Higinbotham
   a. No Senior Staff meeting
   b. On call – essential personnel
     i. Jessie 
     ii. Andrew
     iii. Bob
   c. Plenty of employees under mandatory evacuation
     i. Tropical storm force winds expected
     ii. Down trees & no power expected

2. Jessie Butler
   a. Hall currently locked up due to Tritium cell install
   b. Please report any and all safety concerns (incidences) that have occurred no matter how minor to 
             Occupational Medicine, your supervisor, work coordinator, and/or sponsor
   c. Clean up the hall removing all unnecessary equipment ahead of the fall run
   d. Completed the final leak check of LHRS and entrance bean line, both checks were good
   e. LHRs, RHRS, & entrance beam line are all under vacuum & are ready for the fall run
   f. Exit beam line is not under vacuum because we are waiting for dump work to be completed
   g. Estimate time for completing work and start pump down us Wednesday (9/12)
   h. Moved APEX septum from the hall to the Test Lab
   i. Began rebuilding the PREX septum in the hall to make sure the new coil fits

3. Robin Wines
   a. SBS
     i. Working on vertical supports

4. Jack Segal
   a. Cabling Between Spectrometers
     i. Installation of 2 TS-485 and 4 RG-58 cables from LHRS to RHRS around pivot arm
     ii. Termination and labeling of RS-485 cables at 2nd level of detector huts (complete), still need to test 
               RS-485 with cable tester
     iii. Termination and labeling of RG-58 (complete). Note: new RG-58 measured to be 160 ft. using TDR 
               setting of Vp=80, old cables also measured 160 ft.
     iv. Check for additional connector repairs of RG-58 Thinnet HRS fiber patch panels
     v. Installation of fiber cables in both HRS. Runs from back of detector stack up to 2nd level racks, John 
               Musson to provide card in crate
