Alas, IL do not live nearby and am now in Taiwan for a couple of weeks.

I am not sure of the JLAB rules, but it should be borne in mind that the older
you are the safer it is to be exposed to radiation and I urge older people to
volunteer

Is appropriate please remind the Jlab radiation safety personnel two factors
which apply in my situation at age 84
(1) I have already in my lifetime had a lot of radiation exposure, almost all
from X rays
(2) If at age 84 I get a large enough exposure to give me cancer I note that
the latent period is about 20 years for cancers of solid tissue and at age 104
that will be the least of my worries

I will be available for shift in 10 days
