[Halla_running] Counting house computers will be down

Hi Carlos,

I know you (and others) need the computers. However, I don't have any
authority over the people doing the power work. This is an issue for
management. I am not even being informed about times and durations of
outages. Even if I get the occasional notification, it doesn't reflect
reality.

The bottom line is, at this point the counting house in essence doesn't
have electrical power. Then, obviously, things go down. I understand the
hall has been without power for a lengthy period already, too. If such
work gets scheduled 4 weeks before the start of beam, well, call this
type of planning what you like.

Once I receive a credible assurance that the power has been restored
reliably - not intermittently - I will be more than happy to boot the
machines up again. Until then, I need to protect our $100k IT hardware
from potential damage.

Yes, I am hereby explicitly asking relevant people to notify me once
power has been reliably restored. Please keep me in the loop.
