[Halla_running] Counting house computers will be down

Hi all,
Yes, this situation is intolerable. Walt is supposed to be the point
of contact for this kind of thing, but he is not being informed
adequately either... The schedule is constantly changing and someone
(JLab Facilities?) feels they can flip switches at will.
Having the power to the computers be so unstable really is unworkable.
Ole is absolutely right to power them down until we get a suitable
assurance that this will not happen again. The Hall C cluster has been
shut down too -- this impacts active Qweak analyses.
A compounding problem is that the generator that backs emergency power
to the CH is dying/dead. I think step 1 is to get that generator
replaced -- Walt will be following up on that too.
Power will return -- how it gets routed to our critical systems is being
worked on. Stay tuned...
