<p>Some heavy construction (digging) started near the north linac yesterday morning and the vibrations turned out to interfer with the cryomodules on that line. Upper management decided to eat some penalty charges and defer the construction until after the spring run.  So, we lost a day but no major disruptions.<br><br>First beam to Hall A is now planned for Friday day-shift.  They'll try to steer up Hall B on Saturday.  Beam is still supposed to be delivered to Hall A/D over the weekend, but B has the priority.</p><p><strong>Thursday shifts and Friday OWL are cancelled.  Friday DAY shift should plan to come in as planned.</strong></p><p>Don't forget we are restarting our daily on-site meetings at 4pm in the Counting House conference room (2nd floor).  We'll run Bluejeans so offsite people can connect.  Connection instructions are at the bottom of the email.<br><br><strong>** Request for Tuesday 4pm meeting **</strong><br>As the new Run Coordinat

Anyone who plans to take shift as a Target Operator, who has n
 ot previously been trained, will need to take a class, a practical training session, and a supervised practice before becoming a certified Target Operator. The practical training will occur soon after the target is cooled down.
