Phase 3 is here!!!!!!!!

Hall A looked  at positrons on a dummy target over night, taking runs at LHRS angles of  (16.8, 17.57, 19.115, 20.57). We officially  moved to phase 3 around 7 this morning. MCC increased the max juice level to 24uA and Dave unlocked the gas targets.

Our goal today is to let MCC deliver has much current has they need, up to 22.5uA. So with that in mind, we should try to limit the amount of time with beam off to a minimum.  Are current physics goal is to take positron data on the gas targets!

MCC plans to address the 5th pass RF separator today. What that will take is still unknown. Investigation is under way.  MCC is still under the plan to start "Physics" on Wednesday. The official word for when the change over happens is still up in the air.
