[Halla_running] [New Logentry] RC daily update

The last 24 hours:

The JLab-wide network was resolved by yesterday afternoon, and we were sent CW beam in the first half of swing shift yesterday. We began the process of phase-III checkout:
    - Ion chamber calibration
    - Centering the raster on the carbon hole, and shrinking the raster size to approx 2x2 mm on  target
    - BPM calibration with a full bullseye harp scan

Once the harp scans were complete, we requested permission to go to phase 3, which was granted a little before midnight. We then began production running. We had some work to do to find appropriate prescale factors, and we increased the momentum of the left HRS to get nuclear elastics (x=3) without seeing the tail from (x=1). We finished the first angle setting this morning, and moved the left HRS to its second angle setting.


The next 24 hours:

We will continue production running, and try to cover as many of the important kinematic settings as we have time for. The backroom team is continuing to monitor the data, and will make decisions about which settings to keep and which settings to drop.
