[Halla_running] [New Logentry] Daily update

We had smooth data taking yesterday and over night. 

This morning, we tried switching to Tritium running which required cycling left arm quads for the momentum change. While Q1, Q2 and Dipole successfully set to the 2.218 GeV/c, our Q3 tripped. We were not able to do remote reset and had to request escorted access to reset in the hall.
Jessie went down and tried to bring the Q3 back up. The first attempt failed as soon as we turned the regulator on at 1600A. For the second try, Jessie kept it at 1600A a bit longer and brought it down slowly to near 900A. After it reached 900A, he turned the regulator on and it did not trip this time. This might be something we want to keep in mind next time when the L-Q3 trips.

In the meantime, we had target vacuum alarm when we moved to Home position for the access. It went ~1e-4 mbar level and very slowly recovered (~1h). Jessie checked the pump, but everything seems to be in normal condition. It recovered to 1.e-6 level by the time when we were done with the access, and further to 1.e-7 when we were moving target to Tritium.

As of now, we are back in business. We started the Tritium production run 111221.

Plan for the weekend:
We will continue taking data with Tritium target. No target/kinematic changes.
Also, note that day light saving time will end at 2 AM on Sunday. We will have 1h more beam while most of us will get an additional hour of sleep :-)

Monday beam studies:
There will be scheduled beam study for 4h starting from 8:30 on Monday. 
MCC needs Hall A for 1C12 calibration. We will keep the hall locked up throughout the beam studies, and perhaps take dummy data if possible.
Any work in the hall should plan for Tuesday (system recovery).

Last, but not least, don't forget to sign up for shift! The shift schedule has been updated (1 more day of tritium!)
