[Halla_running] [New Logentry] Daily update 2019-03-05

To improve the beam stability, the energy will be reduced. For Hall A, it will be from 2.221 to 2.139 GeV. 

The scheduled RF recovery is ongoing and will completed at noon. Then, the energy reduction will start. There will no beam to the Hall before Thursday (March 7) afternoon. 

Accordingly, Tuesday swing, Wednesday owl, day, swing, Thursday owl shifts are cancelled. There are still several open shift slots. Please consider to fill them up if you can. It will be greatly appreciated. 

Thursday day shift crew should report for the shift. 

Beam is off now. The full Hall survey is processing. We will be in controlled access afterward and until the beam back on Thursday. 

We will do the polarity change for the Right arm today as planed. As well, all the magnets configuration will be updated to the new momentum. Then, we will take cosmic run and wait for the beam. 

Planned access today: 1. The tech experts will change the magnet polarity for the right arm (Q1, D) and the septum correctors.   2. Roman will reboot the Moller DAQ create and check the VDC relay box. 3. Bogdan will check the VDC LU2 connection for #46 wire low efficiency issue.
