We have been running successfully at 85 microamps since yesterday, and since we are on a pristine target, the collimator water outlet temperature has not exceeded 69 degrees C yet. We have amassed 4.5 Coulombs in the last day. We did lose some time yesterday to a steering exercise to decrease high rates in the Compton region, and to an issue this morning with the Left Arm Q1 power supply.

We are taking a lot of data so we need to be vigilant in making sure that it is good. Particularly, please watch the background rates in the Compton— if they rise they can typically be brought back quickly and easily with a call to the MCC.

Tomorrow we will do a standard Moller measurement on the Day Shift, followed by a Q2 measurement on the current target and then test of spectrometer rescattering on the Swing Shift. Owl will be the final shift of production.

There will NOT be a RC meeting at 3:30 pm today.
