[Halla_running] [New Logentry] Hall status and plan for the day

After the site power problem (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3827290) yesterday that affected the Moller quad power supplies were were never able to recover them. Sarin and his team worked late into the evening (huge thanks) debugging the issue and concluded that it was due to a ~5% lower voltage incoming into the hall (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3827592). At 8AM today RadCon will come and survey the hall to allow work to continue on this. P. Powers has a team ready to turn off the transformer and raise the voltage. Before we do that Jessie and one of the hall techs will ensure that other critical systems are not going to be affected by the transformer going down.

Luckily  for us Jay and Denis found an optics configuration (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3827551) that only changed the 1H quads to allow for safe beam delivery. We verified the spot size and recalibrated the raster to allow for nominal beam delivery on the Ca48 target. We have been taking production since ~1AM with FFB off. We have lost communications with the RQ1 this morning around 3AM (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3827797) but from the data we have determined that it is still working. We will ask Jessie to take a look at it once we are in access.

The plan is to return to production with the old optics as soon as the power supplies are fixed or go to the configuration we ran to over night if more work is needed.

We will not have a meeting today unless something comes up that needs urgent discussion. If that happens I will send another email to the halla_running list.
