RC Report 30 November 2022

"Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship"

Summary:

- Not much to tell. The target group, dressed as a group of scientist from Umbrella Corporation handling the T-Virus (and you know what happened), have been working hard the whole day, under RadCon supervision due to the contaminated-declared area. Due to the time extension, RadCon and Target group decided to stop and continue today. 
- The two cells, target (Hunter) and reference, are already installed, and alignment will take most of the time today (but it is not the unique work).
- Let me emphasize that, although the work could look to go slow, we want to assure that there are not details missed due to a rush work. Be patient. Perfection is our goal. 

Short Term Run Plan: 

- Finish the installation
- Start polarization
- Prepare to deliver beam 

RC Notes:

- People, seriously, take a look to our Shift List --> https://misportal.jlab.org/mis/physics/shiftSchedule/?experimentRunId=SBS-GEn-2022 and consider take shifts. Help the next RC, Xinzhan to facilitate his job. 

- Until I don't get information at first hand with the Target crew, I am keeping the Day shift in stand-by starting at 12h, and also Swing shift will be in stand by. I will inform the shift takers about the status as soon I have more insight of the timeline.

- I will consult with Xinzhan, the next RC, about the convenience or not of having the regular RC meeting today (maybe it could be like yesterday, short meeting). I will send an email. 

- So, my last day as RC, thank you for your cooperation during the long holiday break and under the hard circumstances we have with the experiment. And thank you to the experts and techs on call with your patience answering the dumb-dumb questions of this RC. And specially RadCon crew with all the support during this time period.
