Today we were notified there will be no beam until at least tomorrow DAY shift.  Two magnets are down in the RF separator (RSEP8).  Last night they found a clogged conductor, flushed it overnight and were doing a flow check today.  After they will trouble shoot the other magnet.  Shift leaders were informed not to come in however we will still require a Target Operator.

Since going to beam permit on Monday we have yet to complete beam checkout.  The immediate run plan after beam checkout is GEM checkout and HV scans, Moller commisioning, optics data with the Sieve slit and Hydrogen elastics. Some good news though, the target group took advantage of the down last night and successfully polarized the He3 cell Ukraine!  The NMR polarimetry is working well and we have plans to commissioning the EPR polarimetry tonight.
