Still no beam.  After the coolant flow was restored to the RSEP8 magnets yesterday evening, the conductivity of the LCW was too high for DC power to do hot checkout out (HCO).  The conductivity is being closely monitored by MCC and it looks like it will be at an acceptable level around early swing shift.  At that point HCO and beam restoration may begin.  Hopefully beam will be back during OWL.   Beam checkout (~1.5 shifts) will be the first task as soon as the available experts are available.  After we will do the GEM commissioning plan (1+ shifts).  

In other news, DC power accessed the hall last night and today to work on a tripping Moller quad.  This issue is reported to be resolved.  The target group also completed an EPR calibration and may do additional work later today.  The hall is in controlled access and a TO will be in the counting house.  Shift leaders will not be needed until beam checkout is complete. 

Owl shifts are empty for the next few days, both SL and TO.  Please consider signing up!

Since the plan is clear for the next 24 hours we will not have an RC meeting today.
