After the turbo pump was changed by Jessie yesterday during SWING shift, we returned to Beam Permit, and began the beam and raster checkout.
While we were down due to the vacuum work yesterday, the target group attempted an EPR measurement but there was an issue and the lock was lost, resulting in a reduction of the polarization. Since the hall was still in controlled access, the began a "spin up." More details can be found in: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4066891
The target computer was rebooted after becoming unresponsive: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4066974
While waiting for the polarization to increase, Simona began a checkout of the optics target to understand the cause of the ion chamber trips seen on 10/21/22, during a GEM luminosity scan.
Afterwards, a check of the rates and comparison of the ion chambers for the polarized helium-3 cell with those during the calibration were made: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4067352
Production on polarized helium-3 was then started.
5-aperture water flow faulted and brought down the accelerator for ~5 hours: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4067389
Resumed production on polarized helium-3. Due to the high data rate, and discussion with Bogdan, the BBCal thresholds were raised by 30% and the prescale for trigger 1 was set to -1 : (ps1=-1): https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4067485
