RC Report 30 October 2023
“Everything I've ever cared about, everything I've worked for... has all been preparation for a future that no longer exists.¨
The Day After Tomorrow
well... everything was smooth, within our regular DAQ hiccups, we were like the TItanic sailing nicely in the North Atlantic, when it crashed against an iceberg, in our case, the target cell was declared lost at 8:14 --> https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4212431 .Maybe, the rough night during Monday Owl, was an omen of what will happen.
The Hall is right now in Restricted Access, after being swept by RadCon. Detectors and magnets are OFF. Holly's crew are working right now on the GEMs, and RadCon will open the enclosure and vacuum the debris. We will continue with establish plan for the change of configuration.
