GEM experts have concluded their HV studies for today. With the current HV settings we see something like ~30 % efficiency in the SBS back tracker. Nilanga has some hope this value can be increased with some software changes. During HV testing, another sector shorted so we are forced to run conservatively right now. 

We have switched to LD2 and are taking production data overnight. Since the SBS GEMs are still going to be low efficiency I have decided to proceed with inserting the sieve slit in the morning and taking BB optics data during the day shift. This will give up more time to think about the SBS GEMs as they are not as critical for this data. 

GEM experts say increasing the beam current some does not cause extra danger to the SBS GEMs so we will increase the BBCal threshold and try and take data at 15 uA over night.
