Yesterday day was accelerator maintenance day, so Hall A went to restricted.
Activities during maintenance day:
- GEM work: attempt to fix several SBS GEM modules https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4294008
- Active analyzer work: Bill installed the amplifier and optimized HVs: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4294333 
- ECal work;
Went back from restricted to controlled around 6:00 pm yesterday: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4293951
Work continued afterwards till midnight

Afterwards, several issues prevented accelerator to deliver beam after the "promised" time of 8pm:
- RF issues to south LINAC: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4294130

- Beam jitter issues: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4294171

Beam available since 5:50 am.

After that, we experienced issues with target:
- Target ladder got stuck;
- we tried to reboot IOC to solve it, but PID did not come back properly after; https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4294238
- Chandan and Silviu solved the problem (thank you!) 
- needed to hit "Clear Record" to fix the problem.

Problem solved around 7am.

Beam is centered. Switched all HVs on and got back to production: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4294343
Then we experienced DAQ issues, due to mssing MPDs: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4294362
They were fixed by powercycling corresponding crate.

EDIT: This morning, the GEM experts discovered that some of the work of yesterday on the GEMs lead to a significant loss of acceptance on L4M0 (top rear tracker) https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4294598 Access was granted to fix this. Due to the amount of people needed for this work, a controlled access was necessary. Several other people (including ECAL) also went inside. Total down time was from 11am to 2pm.
