[Halla_running] [New Logentry] RC Summary (May 20, 2024)

Accelerator beam studies completed at 6:30 am this morning and we are officially into SAD. During beam studies, we got some opportunistic data to study GEM HV/occupancy with high current of ~ 20 uA. A run @2.5 uA with hadron filter is also taken to compare the GEM occupancy.

During the swing shift, MCC was sending beam to loop1 and I got call about the target alarm in loop 1 around 9 pm (for L1power and L1temp) https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4308304 Talked with TO and MCC, and decided to move target to home. After few mins, target came back to normal and no alarm. Target remained at home after that all the time. Thank you Aram and Bill for being TO during these last two shifts.

Target was handed over to Dave Meekings before 8 am this morning. RadCon started surveying our hall around 9 am. Talked with Mark Jones and Lawrence Hurt (Hall A work coordination) before putting the hall to restricted. I will be giving RC phones to Dave Gaskell, so please email me if you want to reach me.
