Following this morning's senior staff meeting, we learned that the 
policy regarding maximum number of vacation hours for "old timers" 
(i.e., those hired prior to October 2006) is now slightly different than 
stated.

Employees hired before October 5, 2006 will now have until December 31, 
2011 to bring their vacation balance down to 240 hours (rather than 
having to reduce to that total by May).  You now have the entire 2011
calendar year to bring your vacation hours down to the maximum allowable 
number of 240.
