Dear all,

The US Department of Energy has now formally granted CD4B approval to 
Jefferson Lab. This completes the 12 GeV upgrade construction project, 
with CLAS12 as an essential part.

CLAS collaboration and Jefferson Lab staff worked as a team from 
defining scope of the science program, developing the magnet and 
detector concepts, the designs, and the final construction. As 
physicists, engineers, designers, and technicians, we all can take pride 
in this fantastic success.

Now it is up to us to exploit the capabilities of CLAS12 to the fullest 
and deliver great science.
