[Hallb-engineering] No Hall-B Meeting today

Good morning all,

the PAC53 Meeting starts at 9:30 am and I am cancelling today's Hall B Meeting.
Some updates below.

News

  *   Replies for the TAC / PAC reviews have been prepared by the CLAS Collaboration and Hall B.

 Current Run (Run Group L)

  *   Hall B took good production data on deuterium for ALERT with 325 nA beam current; multiple days with > 60% efficiency.

  *
Hall B will switch to first pass on July 31st. and go to third pass for ALERT-SRC on Aug. 3rd.

 Hall B / Detector / Target Work and Status

  *   The walkthrough in Hall B did not identify major issues; some areas for cleanup were pointed out that can be taken care of by Hall B technicians and Facility Division.

  *
The GEM test area in the EEL building occupied by Hampton University will be cleared to make room for the PRad-II/X17 GEMs; preparations and initial tests will commence soon while full testing of the GEMs can only proceed after receiving electronic boards from SBS in Hall A in August.
  *   The HyCal cooling system was re-established.

  *
Preparations continue for the uRWELL test on the Forward Carriage.

 Data Calibration and Processing

  *   DC: Validation in progress for DC TDC window cuts

  *
RG-E: Ready to begin AI network training/validation
  *
RG-K: DC calibrations for 2023 in progress
  *
RG-L: Working on FTOF run selection
  *
New COATJAVA release:  https://github.com/JeffersonLab/coatjava/releases/tag/13.0.3

 Safety

  *   No high-hazard work scheduled for this week.

  *
Some welding of detector and target mounting parts to be done for PRad-II/X17 setup.
