Gents,
Just FYI.
I've just removed the inlet and outlet adapters and they are not compatible with the Hall D flow controller either.
The ports are 1" Diam. i.e. the Hall D version is 1/2" Diam.

Gents,
The Hall D controllers are an HFC-203(L) low flow version where as the Hall B Is a HFC203(H) high flow version.
Also, the analog output is 5 VDC. Please refer to specifications attached here... I'm not sure it is possible to use Hall D's at all.

Scot - has the bad controller been shipped out already?
Do we have the spec sheet which details these connections?
we could put in elbows to give us more room if we needed it I guess

Also, we should check if the mechanical connections can swap over before we ship out the bad controller. Or we will need reducers(might not be room to fit), I believe the Hall D inlet/outlet is different.

Hi Nick,
Yes - please do this as a backup - i.e. have everything ready in case we need it, cable build and so on.
thanks guys
Ruben

Hi Ruben,
I already spoke with Tim and he said we could borrow a hall D spare.
Unfortunately the Hall D flow controllers are +/-15VDC supply and use an external controller. To make it work for us we would need to run a new control cable, install a bipolar supply, and probably install one or two of our spare analog cards to put in analog voltage mode.
I will draw up a quick schematic and talk with Scot about it. We can keep in our back pocket just in case.
Best Regards,
Nick

Gentlemen,
If the repair takes too long and/or the new units take too long to get here, is there another flow controller on site that we could borrow as a temporary measure that would suit our needs?
Regards
Ruben
