Folks,
The news on the torus magnet power supply recovery is reasonably promising. We are now planning to
resume shifts for the RG-K run during swing shift this evening. Given the current schedule, I will put
the swing shift on standby until 6 p.m.. I will send out another email with firmer plans when things come
better into focus. Stay tuned.
Regards,
Daniel

Folks,
We have had two torus/solenoid fast dumps in the past two days (yesterday at 3:15 a.m. and
today at 7:45 a.m.). The problem in each case was caused by a trip of a waterflow sensor in
the torus power supply. Some significant work is necessary to address the issue. The Magnet
Group is in the hall now and work will continue tomorrow after all safety paperwork is in place.
As a result, all CLAS12 shifts will be cancelled until 4 p.m. tomorrow, Mar. 6. Things are still
coming into focus and more shift cancellations are possible. I will send out another email with
details when they become clear. If you have any questions, let me know.
Note: Hall B is presently in Controlled Access. It transition to Restricted Access before
tomorrow morning.

Daniel
