[Hallb] FOA AI for NP - our LOI

Hi All,

As discussed at the round table meeting yesterday we have decided to put together an LOI to answer the AI for Nuclear Physics FOA (https://science.osti.gov/-/media/grants/pdf/foas/2025/DE-FOA-0003458.pdf). The deadline to submit an LOI to JLab for preselection is tomorrow.

The proposal is to introduce AI/ML assistance to all stages of CLAS12 experiments so as to reduce the time required to produce and publish higher-quality data. You can view our draft following this link https://www.overleaf.com/read/twpzvrqhqhtc#a1c230 .
