[Hallc] Proposal for PAC51: Coulomb Corrections in DIS

Dear colleagues -

Please find attached a draft proposal for PAC51, "Measurement of Deep 
Inelastic Scattering from Nuclei with Electron and Positron Beams to 
Constrain the Impact of Coulomb Corrections in DIS".  The goal of this 
proposal is to make a definitive measurement of the impact of the 
acceleration of electrons in the Coulomb field of nuclei in Deep 
Inelastic Scattering.  The experiment will use positron beam 
measurements in Hall C with the HMS, combined with electron beam data 
that will be taken as part of Hall C experiment E12-14-002 ("Precision 
Measurements and Studies of a Possible Nuclear Dependence of R = 
sigma_L/sigma_T").

Please let us know by this Friday (May 19) at 5 pm EDT if you have any 
comments or would like to be added to the proposal.
