Dear KaonLT Collaborator:
We are writing to bring to your attention our draft manuscript "Regge and GPD
COmparison of Beam Spin Asymmetry in Exclusive Pion Electroproduction",
intended for publication in Physical Review Letters. This is the first of many
papers that we hope to eventually publish from the KaonLT experiment.
You may recall that there was a presentation on nearly-final BSA results at the
January Hall C workshop; there will be a second talk on them at the upcoming
Hall A/C meeting, on July 15, 15:30 EST. The paper includes the new
experimental data, comparison with published CLAS-6/12 data, and new
calculations by the Korean group (TK Choi, K-J Kong, B-G Yu) and they are
listed as co-authors.
You can download the draft paper from:

Some notes for your attention:
- The KaonLT experiment ran in 2018-19 as a run group with the SIDIS-CSV,
SIDIS-PT experiments. For those who did not take sufficient shifts to be on
papers from all 3 experiments, Dave Gaskell has made contact to confirm which
experiment papers they should be on. The author list reflects this, please
alert us to any errors or omissions.
- You are encouraged to send us your ORCiD identifier so it can be included as
part of the submission.
- The GK model predictions are preliminary and will be re-generated at the
central kinematics of each setting to be consistent with the method in which
the YCK model was evaluated prior to submission.
You are very much encouraged to comment on this draft since the APS Guidelines
on the Responsibilities of Coauthors and Collaborators makes clear our
collective responsibility for the entire paper as an accurate, verifiable,
report of the research.
Even if you have no comments on the paper, please let us know that you have
read it, and perhaps recommend a good referee that we may suggest to the PRL
editors when we submit the paper.
Please send comments directly to Alicia Postuma at acp548 at uregina.ca no later
than Tuesday July 16.
Best Regards,
Garth and Alicia
(also on behalf of Tanja and Pete)
