Hi,
Just to update everyone on the Emergency Management Information & Required Actions.
Tina Johnson put together the list of emergency info that is list below.
Please read through.

Cheers,
        Mark

It’s important that you’re familiar with these recommended actions and expectations for responding to emergency events.
The Lab wants everyone to feel informed and prepared to make the right decisions in any emergency situation.
During a recent drill, it was noted that some students were unsure of the correct actions to take. This email is intended to help reduce and eliminate that uncertainty by providing clear guidance and information.
📱 Register Your Emergency Contact Number in JList
You must have a phone number (cell or home landline) registered in JList.
Instructions:

  1.
Sign in to JList<https://misportal.jlab.org/jlist/>
  2.
Search for yourself
  3.
Click the "Contact" tab
  4.
Click "Edit My Info" at the bottom
  5.
Enter your mobile number and carrier under the “Personal Phones” section
  6.
Choose your notification preferences (texts, calls)
  7.
Optionally, share this contact info with other staff

🔔 Remember to update this info anytime your phone number or carrier changes.
You must allow the Lab to contact you via RAVE (mass notification system). See the image below for how to select calls and texts.

📢 Quarterly Accountability Drill
You’ll be required to participate in an Accountability Drill each quarter, sent via the RAVE system (text, call, and email). These messages may come from:

  *
rave.com / getrave.com
  *
Short codes (5–6-digit numbers)

These are not spam. If you're not set up in JList correctly, you'll only receive an email and may miss the drill alerts.
