[Hallc_running] [New Logentry] Thursday RC update for Hall C

Please sign up for shifts. We have holes in the schedule this weekend, and midnight Saturday is much closer than it sounds. 

MCC made good progress last nite tuning up Hall A. Assuming the optics experts got enough sleep, Hall C could go to power permit around noon. It's 9am as I write, so we still have a few hours for minor activities like last-minute walk-thrus or parasite detector tweaks. Just let the shift leader know.  

Work this morning: Dave Meekins is condensing our target.  Walter et al were happy with their insulation vacuum when they checked it, so no more pumping is needed. The shift checklist should be done to confirm we're ready (shutters out, etc).  
 
When beam returns, the plan remains the same: Beam checkout procedure and then detector/trigger/optics checkout with solid targets.

There will be the usual RC meeting this afternoon at 4:30 pm in the Counting House. Remote connection information is on the wiki
