[Hallc_running] [New Logentry] RC Update

Physics data taking has progressed well through swing and overnight despite the very trippy beam overnight - https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3673504. This plot was off scale by default! We were also limited to 65uA in an attempt to reduce the number of beam trips.

Unfortunately accelerator issues carried over into this morning. We got roughly an hour more data before the accelerator had a new issue. As you can see, there was a whole lot of red! https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3673538

We hope to be taking data again within the next hour.

Now for the good news though, after consulting with Steve Lassiter we will NOT need an access for the upcoming SHMS rotation in to 6.91 OR the HMS rotation out to 49.3. However, as these are at or very near the limits the shift crews responsible for these changes are reminded to VERY carefully monitor the rotation with the live cameras. This Physics setting is also progressing along very nicely in terms of statistics.

Our plan for today is to wrap up the current setting (Q2 4.4, low epsilon, centre) when we get beam back, rotate the SHMS slightly to 13 degrees  for the next setting (Q2 4.4, low epsilon, left) and then to work our way through that one. I expect we will be onto the next Q2 point in roughly the middle of the weekend. Note, this point requires we move the SHMS in to 6.9 degrees.

We will have a meeting today at the NEW time of 3:30 in the counting house conference room.
