Luckily for everyone involved, the update today includes no Matrix references.

On the beam front, we got beam back ~30 minutes ago, it has been a little off and on since then. Hopefully we'll get enough overnight to finish our current setting and move to negative polarity. When and if we do, we're planning to take a run for the PID leg checkout (Step 10f in the run plan, before we add 12uA of electron beam and bake for 9 hours) as soon as possible. We'll then try and take as much data as possible before the beam goes away again at ~05:30.

The access today was shorter than expected due to the RF separator work being shunted to tomorrow, we will have another opportunity for access tomorrow though - https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3905014

Various avenues for the HGC issues were checked -

An FADC was swapped out - https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3905064 - We'll have to see how the data we take tonight looks on this front.
The tank was checked for light leaks - https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3904832 (negative on that front)

Carlos has improved the detector timing windows. Things look positive for using these to re-analyse the previous data - https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3905042

We'll have a meeting tomorrow at 10:00.
